When You No Longer See the Point, Just Let Yourself Breathe

Paysage doux avec lumière dorée – symbole de retour à la paix intérieure

Sometimes, you no longer see the point of going on.

You wake up with that knot in your stomach,

that weariness stuck to your heart,

that feeling that nothing changes, that nothing helps.

And worse still: that no one can truly understand.

It's hard to talk about.

It's hard to carry.

And sometimes, even those who love us don't know how to be there.

So we shut ourselves in, we smile on the surface, but inside…

we've given up.

And yet.

There is something in you that holds on.

Even tiny.

Even silent.

There is a small part of you that hasn't given up.

Otherwise you wouldn't be here, reading these words.

It's not a coincidence.

It's not a weakness.

It's the life in you looking for a way through.

Not to go back to how things were,

but to open up differently.

You don't have to understand everything.

You don't have to feel better today.

But you can, if you want, give yourself a pause.

Just one.

One breath.

Close your eyes.

Place a hand on your heart.

And listen.

There is nothing to fix.

Nothing to succeed at.

Nothing to prove.

You are alive.

And that alone is already an answer.

The pain you feel is not a mistake.

It's proof that your heart is still there.

It's your heart that is crying out.

Because it wants to love again.

Because it knows life can be something other than what you are living right now.

And it's right.

You are not broken.

You are going through something.

And even if you can't see the way out right now,

there are paths you don't know yet.

Encounters you haven't had yet.

Parts of yourself you haven't seen yet.

And there is beauty, even where you no longer imagine it.

You don't have to force yourself to be happy.

But leave room for the possibility that joy will return.

That one day, without warning, it will burst out again in a peal of laughter,

a sincere smile,

a sunrise,

a word that touches you,

a look that understands.

It's not naive.

It's life.

And it is persistent.

It knows how to come back when we thought it was lost.

You have a place here.

Even if you can't see it.

Even if you can't feel it.

You have something unique to offer.

It isn't necessarily big, or visible, or spectacular.

But it's you.

And that is enough.

Why keep going?

Because life isn't over.

Because what you are living now is not all it has to offer you.

Because you don't yet know what your heart may encounter.

Because someone, one day, will need your story,

your way of seeing,

your presence.

Because even in the darkest nights,

the light still exists.

And it will return.

It always returns.

And what if, for today, that was simply the goal:

not to abandon yourself.

To stay here.

One more moment.

Then another.

Then another.

And one day, you'll look back,

and you'll understand why you stayed.

And you'll thank life for holding on for you,

when you no longer could.

You are not alone.

You are precious.

And you still have so much to live

So much to love
